A Focus on Ethics in Learning

A-Focus-on-Ethics-in-Learning

At James Wisconsin University, we place great value on the Christian foundation that is our heritage. We believe that by following biblical guidelines in every area of life, we benefit both ourselves and those around us.

Certificates

Certificates are a good way to specialize your degree program or complete additional training in new or related field. James Wisconsin University offers certificates (usually 12 credits of study) and advanced certificates for a deeper knowledge base (generally around 21 credits).
EARNING A CERTIFICATE AS PART OF YOUR BACHELOR’S DEGREE

If you are earning a bachelor’s degree at James Wisconsin University, pursuing a certificate as part of your elective credit offers you additional versatility in the marketplace. Since it is part of your degree program, this coursework is eligible for financial aid and usually tuition reimbursement.

Work with your Academic Advisor to incorporate a certificate or advanced certificate as part of your degree plan.

EARNING A CERTIFICATE AS AN UNCLASSIFIED STUDENT

If you are looking for professional development, earning a certificate or advanced certificate that awards college credit offers credibility to your additional training. Students do not have to be degree seeking students at JWU to earn a certificate, but can do so as unclassified students. For these students, federal financial aid is not available, but some employers may provide tuition reimbursement for employee development.

If you are interested in earning a certificate or advanced certificate as an unclassified student, complete the Unclassified Student Application.
