Career Services

The mission of the JWU Career Services & Corporate Relations is to enable students to clearly identify their career potential and goals. JWU will manage to successfully assist you in finding suitable jobs or even start your own business.

In order to assist JWU student’s specific needs, Career Services & Corporate Relations has developed a set of services with 3 types of modules:
1. JWU Corporate Relations

The JWU maintains and develops contacts with large corporations as well as with fast growing smaller companies with worldwide ambitions. In order to assist them in their search for managerial talents we maintain good relation with others.

JWU receives job and internship offers on a daily basis from different companies and countries. We carefully match positions with current students and alumni.

Through the academic year, JWU students can enjoy various opportunities to meet with professionals from various industries, including guest speakers, professional lecturers and recruiters. We invite different experts to speak about the specific issues of their industry or about their recruitment process.

JWU sponsors and organizes high profile conferences around topics within the University’s specialization in order to give students the opportunity to establish direct contact with professionals as well as starting to create their own networks. Students are also invited to participate in a wide range of professional events.

The James Wisconsin University has always been strongly committed to building positive synergies and win-win relationships with international companies.

During specific courses or during conferences hosted by JWU, executives from various international companies are invited to give talks and to share their experience and regard on specific markets trends or economic issues.
2. Personal Development Program

Under PDP, JWU involves a personal self-assessment, based on Motivation and Interests Inventories, as well as on Personality Traits Inventories and Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Tests.

In addition, JWU MBA students also have access to use Quantic Potential Measurement (QPM), which is an individual assessment tool, followed by an individual assessment supervised by a certified coach.

3. Interactive Workshops
Workshops are organized throughout the academic year to assist students with all phases of “self-selling” strategy. The topics include: preparing a compelling résumé and cover letter, mastering interview techniques, mastering networking techniques, and improving communication skills.

Specific sessions are dedicated to job search strategies, the recruitment process, job identification and career patterns within specific industries, such as finance (wealth and asset management as well as investment banking), fast moving consumer goods industries, luxury goods companies and strategic consulting.
